This is blatant arrogance on part of Yahoo. They have taken the stance that lack of respect prevelant in the third world is the accepted norm.
Yahoo has clearly exploited this lack of awareness.
Written attribution to the original content creator is something followed strictly in most European countries. I presume it is more or less the same in the United States.
Yahoo has also tried to distance itself from webduniya inorder to cut down its losses. It could also be a ploy to show an indian face to the whole problem rather than show it as a yahoo vs Indian bloggers issue.
Here is my Hindi blogto raise my voice agaisnt yahoo.
